Ney'tay is an Amharic driven word that loosely translets to 'Come to the spotlight and shine'

Ney’tay is a charitable organization founded and led by women, dedicated
to advancing the well-being of women in Ethiopia.
Ney’tay’s goal is to empower women across all facets of society, including
social, economic, and political realms. Ney’tay focus on supporting
vulnerable women and girls by providing mentorship, and financial
assistance, raising awareness, offering essential services, and providing
legal assistance to those who require it. Ney’tay provide women and girls
with the skills, support, and opportunities to become leaders and changemakers in their schools, communities, and nation.

Ney’tay envision inclusive society where gender equality and disability inclusion are fundamental values and where all individuals, regardless of their background or abilities, have equal opportunities, justice and support. Through transformative  change and unwavering advocacy. We aim to build a future of equity, safety and empowerment for all.

Our Strategic Plan

  • Develop Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to prevent gender-based violence and improve response mechanisms, ensuring that all survivors, including those with disabilities, receive timely and effective support.
  • Expand economic opportunities for women through targeted livelihood programs fostering financial independence and resilience.
  • Expand Mentorship Programs to support the personal and professional growth of women and girls by providing tailored guidance and resources.
  • Enhance access to legal assistance for women ensuring that
    legal services are accessible, effective, and inclusive.
  • Embed disability inclusion across all programs and services, ensuring that individuals with disabilities are fully supported and can participate equally in all organizational activities and initiatives.
